MOTOCROSS OPEN PRACTICE DAYS
CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!
Thank you for another great season of practicing at Walton Raceway - see you in the spring!
How it works: Save money and time - register for our open practice days online in 2022! All persons attending the facility must sign the online waiver (for Minor Waivers, only one parent needs to sign). $5 off per online registration with the code PRACTICE22 (this code is not available for in-person use).
All fees are included in the pricing below, there are no additional fees at the gate unless you are camping.

If you have already registered your waiver once, we will simply check you in at the facility - no need to do it again! If you didn't receive the link in your email, click HERE.
FLAGGERS + MEDICS: We value the safety of our riders above anything else, and have flaggers and track staff on hand for every Saturday and Sunday practice. Medics will be on site for larger practice days.
CAMPING: Cost: $25/night. Tent camping is permitted. The gates close at 8:00pm both Friday and Saturday night (unless otherwise stated). If you have missed the gate cut-off, please park on the right-hand side of the laneway far enough back to accommodate for the gates opening (THE GATES OPEN TOWARDS WALTON ROAD). Do not block the laneway of the house.
NON-POTABLE WATER: Non-potable water is available via a hose at the entrance to the facility (look for the big raised tanks between the portable washrooms and the black shower building).
POTABLE WATER: There is a fresh water fill station in Blyth across from the Blyth Arena in front of Lions Park. The address to the arena is 377 Gypsy Ln, Blyth and Blyth is an approximately 10-minute drive to the northwest. There is also a dump station at this site.
CAMPFIRES: Must be in a raised fire pit, minimum 12" from the ground. NO GROUND FIRES.
FIREWOOD: Firewood not available for sale.
GARBAGE: Take out what you bring in, garbage collection is not available as our municipal landfill is on reduced capacity.
PIT VEHICLES: No pit bikes. No ATVs. Golf Carts must be registered at the front gate when you arrive, and pay the $20 admin fee (cash/credit/debit only). Only those within your pit over 18 years of age with a valid G1 (Beginner) license are permitted to drive them. Only as many passengers are there are seats. All motorized vehicles, including golf carts, must be parked immediately after the last moto or 6pm on practice days. Your actions with golf carts during our smaller event weekends will determine whether or not there will be golf carts at the 2022 TransCan.
EDGE OF WALTON CHALLENGE COURSE: Any persons found to be vandalizing and/or damaging the course will be fined $500.00 CAD plus the cost to repair the damages, and evicted from the property immediately and permanently.
PROPERTY LIMITS: Our property is limited to the north side of Walton Road only. We do not own the quarry/gravel pit to the south of Walton Road, and if you enter that property you are leaving Walton Raceway and crossing into private property with NO TRESPASSING signs posted. The OPP has been patrolling the gravel pit and will issue trespassing charges to anyone they find in breach of the private property fence line.
SWAP-A-DAY: Does the weather not look quite as great as you hoped it would? Send us a quick message to swap your day for another, or for a future coupon use at another practice. And if we cancel due to weather, we'll issue everyone a coupon for another practice date also.
